WHAT IS
KIT101 ART? KIT101 Art is a fresh, modern approach to teaching traditional art and techniques. We develop your visual communication skill by teaching you art fundamentals in a progressive manner that encourages individual expression.
|
WHAT ARE “ART FUNDAMENTALS”?
WHY ARE THEY IMPORTANT? Art fundamentals are the ‘building blocks’ of visual art. We cover these concepts and teach them to students in a way that they can grasp, enjoy and apply.

WHAT DO WE WANT KIT101 ART STUDENTS TO DEVELOP?
|
DO YOU OFFER
TRIAL CLASSES? Yes. Please contact us to discuss. |
HOW OFTEN ARE THE ART SESSIONS?
CAN I ATTEND MORE THAN 1X/WEEK? For Exploration and Focus, sessions are once a week at 1 hour and 30 minutes / session. For Discovery, sessions are from once or more than once a week at 1 hour and 15 minutes / session. Please contact us if you really want more than 1x/week. |
DO YOU HAVE MAKEUP CLASSES FOR ABSENCES?
Yes. There is a make-up window for students who missed classes, which is 30 days after end of the program. Effective January 15, 2016, above policy applies for Exploration program. For the Focus program, there is a window at the end of the term to finish all make-up sessions. It is best for students to complete all sessions before the start of the following term. |
IF MY CHILD IS ADVANCED, CAN HE MOVE UP TO A DIFFERENT CLASS?
KIT101 Art activities are designed to be suitable for both beginners and advanced students and we adjust the activities within the class to suit the different skill levels. |
WHAT’S YOUR TEACHER-STUDENT RATIO?
We like to work in small groups. Normally, we have 1 teacher handling 3-6 students, depending on the class dynamics. As the number of students in the class increases, we add a second or third teacher as we see fit. |
DO YOU ACCEPT STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS?
This will depend on whether the student can handle the trial session, his needs and the class dynamics. |
DO YOU DO PRIVATE SESSIONS FOR GROUPS OR INDIVIDUALS?
Please contact us to discuss. |
