​Chibi Art
​

Learn to see relationship of lines and shapes, reckon measurements, edit and reconstruct, make decisions artistically and simplify figures in the form of Chibi art. Often found in anime, this distinct, Japanese-originated art movement is useful for creating fun atmospheres. Use it to decorate your journal, make comic strips or incorporate to your fine arts adventure. Know the basics and start creating your Chibi world!

This theme-based and structured art course is divided into 10 modules. One module has 10 sessions and runs for 1 hour and 20 minutes each time. Activities are ideal for teens and kids 7 years old and up.

Module 1: Chibi Heights

Explore two and three heads tall mini characters. Begin training with one particular proportion then apply same principle in a slightly different body measure.

Module 2: Chibi Emotions

Bring your chibi to life! Learn techniques on facial expressions and apply marks and simple body gestures to reinforce the mood.

Time for a full composition! Enhance the personality of your chibi by adding descriptive details, supporting characters and a thrilling job!

Module 5: Chibi Fan Art (Uraraka & Deku)
​

Draw recognizable series characters in its chibi form. With less realistic face, simplified changes in body proportions and adorable pose, this journey is a fun way to start drawing anime personalities!

Module 6: Chibi Fan Art (Todoroki & Tsuyu)​
​

Fire and ice, human and frog! Advance on to Fan Art development with hybrid characteristics. Create stylized and meticulous series characters in a process broken into bite-sized to clearly follow along!

Module 7: Chibi Fan Art (Harry & Hermione)
​

Wave your pens and get ready to draw a fan art version of Harry Potter and Hermione Granger in chibi form! Evoke a scene from the book/movie by creating the background, foreground and middle ground elements. Get ready to experience a full magical composition!

Module 8: Chibi Fan Art (Ginny and Ron Weasley)


Create fan art scenes of Harry Potter's two famous "Weasley" siblings! Ride along with Ron as he competes in Quidditch, the most popular and deadly sport in the magical realm! And join Ginny in her battle against the Dementors, the gliding wraithlike dark and foulest monsters in the wizarding world! Reducto!!

+  ​First-time enrollees at the age of 7 and 9 must register in Module 1, 2 or 3
+  ​First-time enrollees at the age of 10 and up  may register in any Module
+  Students younger than 10 years old who have completed Modules 1, 2 and 3 may join Module 4 and up at the teacher's discretion.
​+  We open slots as needed. You may request to open a special group class with a minimum number of 3 students.
    Schedule will be on a Thursday to Saturday depends on availability of the teacher.

Program Fee
​

+  1 Module P8,500.00
+  1 Module has 10 sessions
​+  1 session runs for 1 hour and 20 minutes
+  Minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 students per class
+  Taken 1x a week
+  Pay via direct bank deposit or online bank transfer
+  Materials list with specifications will be emailed upon registration

Must Know

+ Small-group art classes conducted over Zoom
​+ Live, interactive, with strong teacher-student engagement
+ A maximum of 2 free makeup classes are allowed per module, running for 30-40 minutes/makeup class. Starting with the 3rd makeup class, an additional fee of P850.00/student is charged. Each makeup class must be taken at least 2 days BEFORE the day of the next class lesson. In case student foregoes attending the makeup class, a simplified recording will be created and sent in place of a live makeup class. Student is expected to learn this on his own time before the next class starts in order to keep pace. Younger kids may need the parent's help. A maximum of 2 recordings shall be given.
